I'd like to monitor a TCP/IP Network on the connection layer (ping). Lets asume that we have a backbone infrastructure with access switches connecting end-devices. If an access switch fails, the end-devices will not be reachable from the backbone's point of view. Is there any feature in Zenoss "core" for modelling device dependencies so, the in the case described above, only the switch is stated as not reachable (red).
