I have a fresh install from source of Zenoss Core 2.4.1, when I either add a new device or attempt to discover a device in the "/device/linux" class the ZenDisc or ZenModeler reports that:
SNMP monitoring off for <hostname> I have verified that zSnmpMonitorIgnore is set to false or not set through the Zope management page. I have set it to true and set it back to false and that has made no difference. I have also added a new host that has never been monitored by zenoss before and it states the same thing when doing discovery or modeling.
