I double checked it again, in both the device class's zproperties and the device itself. These are the settings I have for snmp: zSnmpAuthPassword blank zSnmpAuthType blank zSnmpCommunities public private (they are on separate lines in the text area) zSnmpCommunity public zSnmpMonitorIgnore False zSnmpPort 161 zSnmpPrivPassword blank zSnmpPrivType blank zSnmpSecurityName blank zSnmpTimeout 2.5 zSnmpTries 2 zSnmpVer v2c I just tried adding another linux machine into the same class and it sais the same thing about SNMP monitoring off for <HOSTNAME>. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=35842#35842 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
