Look at the snmp docs to find out how to bind snmp to one ip address
Good point... I worded that initial post bad. All the servers have been entered into zenoss with their mgmt IP address. We had to create a command type data source that runs a check_ping against the public IP address - so we can monitor the 2'nd IP address. Again this issue is only with approximately 4-5 machines, and always occurs on the mgmt network. When snmp is supposedly down on these machines we check and it is up. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=36202#36202 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list zenoss-users@zenoss.org http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
