Hi All, I am a newbie to ZenOSS, to be precise newbie to NMS tools. I tried many tools, but really liked ZenOSS.
I have installed ZenOSS 2.4.1 on CentOS 5 and able to do most of the monitoring like system services, Uptime etc. I have been asked to check RTD monitoring using the tool, Till now i did not succeed. I tried the Steps given in the link http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?t=3731 , but I did not get any RTA graph. My command is this way check_ping -H $devname -w 1000,40% -c 1000,40% | sed 's/ loss=/ |loss=/;s/, RTA= /RTA=/' I tried to check the correctness with zentestcommand zentestcommand -d <IP Address> --datasource=ipcheck(I created a data source with the name ipcheckk) It shows "Connection timed out " as the output. Please help me out here. I am trying hard to understand the product.
