Today I moved a Zenoss instance from the VMware appliance to a Ubuntu Server
8.0.4 box. I think I have most of the bugs worked out (mostly due to repathing,
etc.), but have one new one that mystifies me:

The web interface stopped responding for several minutes as the CPU was pegged.
I looked through the logs, and all except one looked pretty much normal. But
the zopectl.log was rather busy, including roughly 84 errors like this one:

Code:
2009-06-29T15:42:39 INFO ZODB.Conflict database conflict error (oid 0xee, class
BTrees._OOBTree.OOBTree, serial this txn started with 0x037efc7ea0672299
2009-06-29 19:42:37.594423, serial currently committed 0x037efc7ea1f0b088
2009-06-29 19:42:37.954733) at /zport/dmd/ZenEventManager/manage_deleteEvents
(84 conflicts, of which 0 were unresolved, since startup at Mon Jun 29 14:30:39
2009)

Not sure what's going on here, but one interpretation is that it just cleared
up 84 conflicts of some sort during one big burst of processing. Another
interpretation is that there are 84 issues still.

Any ideas? TIA--
