Please note that the above ports posted by Chet are now very old and likely do
not apply to 2.x versions. It is possible that the ports may change again in
the future, so be sure to check your Zenoss version and the applicability of
this post.
The following are Zenoss port requirements as of version 2.4.x . Distributed
setups (as originally requested in this thread) require other ports not listed
here, and is supplied to Enterprise customers.
Master -> Infrastructure (monitored devices)
* ICMP Echo
* 161/UDP SNMP
* 22/TCP SSH
* 135/TCP WMI DCOM
* 445/TCP WMI RPC
* all ports greater than 1023/TCP WMI (Microsoft thing)
* Any other monitored IP services
Infrastructure -> Master
* 514/UDP syslog
* 162/UDP SNMP Traps
* ICMP Reply
Users -> Master
* 8090/TCP Graph Rendering
* 8080/TCP HTTP (this is default, it can be changed)
PS: central == master
