Is there a good guide or write-up of some kind that can get me started with monitoring Linux servers?
We've gotten Windows monitoring working very well and I can see all of the processes etc through WMI. However, I'm somewhat of a novice when it comes to Linux and I can't seem to figure out how to list and monitor the actual services running on a Linux device. I can see the IP processes, but not things like Asterisk, Apache, etc. Also, I don't see events and log information like I do with the Windows monitoring, so I was just wondering if there was a good starting point to get me going with Linux monitoring. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=36544#36544 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
