So we're absolutely loving Zenoss and we're looking to extend it even further.
We'd like to be able to monitor when our software release hits each machine and tag that in the graphs so we know exactly how each release affects the performance of the system. I've already got a way to check the versions of our software and log it, and I've got a way to covert that log into a list of VRULE commands for rrdtool, but I'm not exactly sure how to integrate that into Zenoss. Part of me thinks it has to be in the render engine since I'd prefer to have the vrule's attached to *each and every* graph per machine. Does anybody have any idea on how to do this? Thanks! Trey
