Can Zenoss monitor AIX through SSH? Thanks.
I have a version of the original AIX ZenPack that does filesystem modelling & monitoring via SSH. It isn't as sophisticated as the new AIX SNMP ZenPack from Eric J. Edgar, but it should be good enough to show a bit of Zenoss modeling magic. Main purpose I wrote it was, that filesystem SNMP index sometimes changes after a HACMP cluster take over. So we switched from SNMP to SSH monitoring for the AIX filesystem part. If you have a box with Mercurial http://mercurial.selenic.com you can fetch the ZenPack Code with hg clone https://atrawog-zenoss-community.googlecode.com/hg/zenpacks/ZenPacks.atrawog.AIX or download the egg file version of the ZenPack from http://code.google.com/p/atrawog-zenoss-community/source/browse/zenpacks/ZenPacks.atrawog.AIX/egg -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=37138#37138 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
