We are "playing" with that situation as our main zenoss server is located in France and we have a branch office in India.
You can use the document I wrote to install a distributed zenhub managing distributed collectors. http://www.zenoss.com/Members/fdeckert/setting-up-distributed-zenhubs/ With that configuration, RRD graph are gathered and stored oversea, and event transformations are run oversea too. You still face the latency issue when events are stored in the central mysql database, and when the local caches get updated from the main zeo server. I also recommand you apply the patch I wrote to avoif the remote zenhub to stop uploading events in case of massive changes on the main zeo server. http://dev.zenoss.org/trac/ticket/4550 -- Florian Deckert SopraGroup - France -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=37605#37605 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
