Hi,

I have some trouble understanding the disk size monitoring in both the SSH
ZenPack and the snmp plugin.

This is a test server output:

Code:
df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1 1.4G 966M 387M 72% /
varrun 1014M 56K 1014M 1% /var/run
varlock 1014M 0 1014M 0% /var/lock
udev 1014M 56K 1014M 1% /dev
devshm 1014M 0 1014M 0% /dev/shm
/dev/sdb1 2.0G 326M 1.6G 17% /var
/dev/sdc1 2.0G 69M 1.9G 4% /var/lib/mysql

And this is the output in Zenoss.

Code:

 / 1.4GB 965.7MB 458.3MB 67
/dev 1013.6MB 56.0KB 1013.5MB 0
/dev/shm 1013.6MB 0.0B 1013.6MB 0
/var 2.0GB 325.5MB 1.7GB 16
/var/lib/mysql 2.0GB 68.4MB 1.9GB 3
/var/lock 1013.6MB 0.0B 1013.6MB 0
/var/run 1013.6MB 56.0KB 1013.5MB 0

/dev/sdb1 and /dev/sdc1 have correct values, but the / partition (/dev/sda1) is
always showing that it has more free space.

Any ideas out there?

We had a few disks that was filled beq of this in our old installation.
