I believe its just a symptom of a problem in the code, the daemon is losing its connection to zenhub and its not smart of enough to reestablish it. If I was the programmer I would do a query from the daemon to the db ( thru zenhub) , if I didn't get the desired result, I would tear down and reestablish the connection, try the query again if it failed again I would cry to mama. Sort of the opposite of the heartbeat method. But I could be completely wrong, I have not read or heard a good explanation of the heartbeats.
