Nope. Haven't removed the collectors. Last night, before giving up for the day, I double checked that the collector was there. It was. I didn't change it, and didn't re-order anything, just viewed that it was in fact there.
I had modeled and remodeled some of these servers a few times recently, to pick up drive changes/etc. Today, when I remodel the devices, all but two (so far) are gathering the software inventory. Those two are configured like the rest, but no amount of trying and re-trying is doing it. I'll fiddle with them Monday. It's just freakin nuts! The only thing I can guess is that somehow viewing the collector list reminded zenoss that it was supposed to get the software. Sounds odd, but it's not impossible.
