I need to delete and recreate a device, (mydevice1.here.there.local) on Zenoss 2.4.1. i.e: delete device "mydevice1.here.there.local" recreate device "mydevice1.here.there.local"
I'm doing this in the hope that it will solve this (http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?t=6706&highlight=) problem. I need to know the following: I have a number of templates and multi-graph reports that point to this device. Will the deletion and recreation of this device effect the templates and graphs pointing to it? Will I lose existing graphing data? Will I lose existing device templates? Has anyone done this before?
