Is it possible to monintor multiple devices through a single IP address behind a port forwarding firewall?
I have 2 devices (Linux) behind a firewall. On the firewall, I forward inbound 161 to one device. I forward port 16102 mapped to port 161 (internal) to another device. I manually added the device using port 16102 to Zenoss first. The device was found and MIBs logged correctly. I then manually added the device using port 161. I had to create the device by name and reset the IP to get the system to take the entry. The device as found and MIBs logged. Both devices are using the same IP address. The system now only seems to be polling the device using port 16102 (first one created). Can the system regularly poll both (and more) devices? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=37955#37955 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
