hincapie12, You can move the gray (debug) events to history just like any other events. Check the box on the left of the event, select the table menu drop down and select "move events to history". You will also have to make sure your filter is set to either "debug" or "clear" at the top of the event console in order to see the debug events.
As for deleting historified events, there really isn't any way to do that within Zenoss. You'd have to remove it via an SQL query at the command line... You can limit the number of days worth of history that Zenoss keeps by selecting "Event Manager" on the left of the screen, then changing the value in the "Delete Historical Events older than (days)" field. The number in this field represents how many days worth of events to keep. Setting it to "0" makes it "unlimited". Hope that helps.
