As a work around, I've placed a entry into the zenoss' user's crontab to restart the daemon, which brings cycle times back down to sane values and we don't experience data loss. I know this isn't a proper solution to the issue, so I was hoping that someone else has seen this behavior before? Where could I start looking to debug this issue? Thanks!
