You need to make sure you can do a snmpwalk to the server that you want to monitor. snmpwalk -v1 -c <community> <ip server>
If that is succesfull you add new device. fill in the snmp community. in the attribures field fill in the ip address in the device name and click add device. when you want to modify the levels you need to go to the templates make a local copy (button) and you can play with the levels.
