I have something very strange happening. One of my servers has NICs and ever
single port on the switch that it is plugged into will not show a graph. To be
more specific, I have 4 ESX servers each with 6 NICs, I'm monitoring the iSCSI
ports and the LAN traffic. All servers are identical in every way, however one
of these three servers just don't show on the graphs. What's strange to me is
that the server is up but according to Zenoss all the ports are down. I tested
the switch by shutting down an interface and sure enough the int shutdown on
the ESX side, I brought it back up and on ESX it came back, however in Zenoss
nothing changed. The interface is down, and no graphs are being made. I have
no idea why this is happening. It's all the same Core switch, so there is no
difference in setup between ports, that I'm aware of. Does anyone have any
clue where I can start troubleshooting this?
