Per the update-rc.d FAQ here: http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Update-rc.d
If defaults is used, update-rc.d will make links to start the service in runlevels 2345, and stop the service in runlevels 016. Thus your command is equivalent to: update-rc.d zenoss start 95 2345 stop 95 016 Which means your defaults configuration is fairly close to the documentation. To change the values just enter the update-rc.d command that you want to use, it should update your startup configuration to whatever was last entered. The numbers 95, 90, and 99 are all sequencing numbers and it's unlikely that any of those numbers will cause problems, any services that Zenoss relies on should be started at much lower sequence numbers. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=38956#38956 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
