Does anyone know how the process monitoring distinguishes between SNMP-based and CMD-based monitoring?
I'm guessing it's based on the device class, but is there an associated zProperty? Here's why: I made a simple modification to the modeler plugin so that it will detect processes on AIX-based machines, and would like to integrate the ssh-based process monitoring into the community AIX zenpack (snmp) since it's not there (and from my limited knowledge probably won't be without a lot of hearthache). I've got the modeler plugin running and it will model the AIX device processes correctly regardless of the device's Class, but the status monitoring itself fails if the device is outside of the "Devices/Server/SSH" tree. Is there a way to control/change this behavior?
