Chances are that Zenoss has not managed to completely build it's topology of your network. Get the little tracepath.py utility from "netdata"'s members page and have a look at this forum append - http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?t=6761&highlight=tracepath . Zenoss needs to understand your network topology before it can do the event suppression.
