These statements on the zeromq website could be clarified a bit better.

   - Jabber: do not confuse instant messaging with real messaging.
   - IPC: we abstract across boxes not a single machine.

Yes, Jabber is the IM protocol, but developers look at XMPP for messaging
such as id Software's Quake Live or Google's Wave.  As such XMPP is a fine
choice for Internet delivery for where ØMQ is not.

ØMQ can be used for IPC so the line should read "not *only* a single
machine."
