ZeroMQ currently uses the 2.1 branch. OSX doesn't support RFC3768 which includes IP version agnostic routines for joining and leaving multicast groups and source-specific multicast (SSM). Also of note it appears the TSC is not usable at all despite the Intel chipset. -- Steve-o
