When a push socket is closed, what happens to messages that have been sent
to it but have not physically gone over the network? (as far as i
understand, this happens asynchronously) Will it attempt to flush those
messages before closing? If not, is there any way to flush messages that are
pending on a socket? I know that in some cases it can't flush because the
receiver may be down, so ideally there would be some sort of "best effort"
flushing.

Thanks,
Nathan
