Introducing exact matching in zmq would be one way to solve the problem but not necessarily the best one. I suppose in most scenarios a single service doesn't need millions or tens of millions of subscriptions. This is an immediate issue for us, I just wanted to lift the issue for discussion. We're mainly having problems with memory usage, which we can solve by sharding the subscription information. /S
