Actually, the application project is directly useful to 0MQ development:
it's purpose is to check all the examples in the Guide actually work.
Since the Guide is assumed to cover a wide range of uses of 0MQ,
it should make a pretty good regression test suite (for both libzmq
as well as all the different bindings).

That does seem relevant to "ZeroMQ development".
