It sounds like you need the following: In order to create a Global file mapping, the user needs to have the "SeCreateGlobalPrivilege" privilege: from: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb530716(v=vs.85).aspx SE_CREATE_GLOBAL_NAME Required to create named file mapping objects in the global namespace during Terminal Services sessions.
