Usually the jar executable is shipped with a JDK, but maybe your
system lacks it. Try redownloading a proper JDK maybe !

Most of the time, you can figure out what any configure was doing (or
attempting to do) by looking at the generated config.log.
In this case, I'm guessing that because the configure script was
looking for javah and javac, it's not actually a .jar file it is
looking for, but the jar command.

Thanks for the replies. I tried on 2 different servers and I got stuck
at the exact same error.
I have Java Home and Jre Home set properly.
But both the servers have Sun/Oracle JDK 1.7.04 and I am not sure if
that could be the reason.
