Imagine a usecase having a persistent datastream form a pubsub but the subscriber can't be bothered to receive messages in quiet times, just because the data is not needed and is updated at such regular intervals that processing messages at a given time is fast enough, while doing a req/reply does give too much overhead at peak times.
Is using a subscriber with a very low highwatermark a smart design here, or will it put a lot of presure on the publisher? Stefan _______________________________________________ zeromq-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zeromq.org/mailman/listinfo/zeromq-dev
