Uflood and ucast are tricky since they need root access, afaik. Fine if you are building custom hardware, but not feasible for consumer devices. If you want something on the roadmap, you either make it and contribute it, or find someone willing to make it for you. iMatix is happy to help with that latter option. I'd suggest UDP+TCP based multicast as a first step up over plain TCP.
