Check if you don't poll with a null time-out in a loop.

Hello,

I've a *very* strange error in one of our systems here:

We have an "epgm" communication between these machines. On each machine
one program is running sending/receiving data to the other machines.

Its a network with XP-SP3 machines and W7/64 machines.

After running for several minutes (1-10) the 32-bit-application (on all
XP-SP3 machines) needs all the processing power it can get
(single-thread main application with 0MQ context with one thread). I get
slightly more than 50% CPU usage on my dual core systems.

I get NO errors
I get NO additional more messages (traffic - all messages are logged)
It happens only on ALL XP-SP3 machines

I can stop the context and restart it again and everything is fine for
some minutes.

Despite this problem the XP programs are doing their job - sending and
receiving the data.

Any ideas ????

Marten
