I'll write a tutorial on authentication in a week or two as part of the next release of the library. For now, unless you know what you are doing please do not get into the security layers. They are not fully packaged and still quite complex.
There is no way to authenticate subscribers in the stable release, nor does JZMQ export the socket options yet afaik.
