Hi Devs,

I need confirmations please:

1) Are there some hidden messages exchanged in the ZMTP protocol besides greetings, handcheck commands and messages ? 2) In the ZMTP RFC23, it is explained that the socket type SHOULD be specified by the sender in the meta-data that are sent after or at the end of the handcheck. As a consequence, may I assume that the identity is not sent in the greetings and handcheck commands, even to a ROUTER (since the peer does not know yet it talks to a ROUTER) ? 3) In addition, the identity is unknown until the end of the handcheck (communicated in the metadata) ?

Cheers,

Laurent.
