Hello everyone, My name is Kirby and I am a student at Texas A&M University. Currently I am trying to utilize ZeroMQ for serial communication between a Graphical User Interface that I have created in C++ in Microsoft Visual Studios 2008 and a Raspberry Pi that is coded in Python. I am having trouble making sure that I am downloading the correct installer and the correct files that would make this happen. I have followed the instructions on http://zeromq.org/area:download to install it on a Windows machine. However, when I download the installer, it is not in a .zip file but as an installation. Thus when running the installation I have the ZeroMQ shortcuts added to VS 2008 Express Edition because that is what I am using to compile my code. Here are the things that I have downloaded:
ZeroMQ-2.20~miru1.0-win32 czmq-2.2.0 cppzmq-master When I bring up the czmq project in VS 2008 and try and build it. I continue to get this error: fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'zmq.h': No such file or directory Lastly, I am using a using a Windows Desktop with these specs Windows 8.1 with a 64-bit Operating System and a x64-based processor, if any of that information matters for the installation. My plan is to just create the project on this computer and then make an .exe of my code and then have it run on a Windows XP machine to communicate with the Pi.
