Rajasthan Brahmin Mahasabha demands reservation, 'Gandhigiri' style Jaipur, June 23: Demanding reservations for the Brahmin community, the Rajasthan Brahmin Mahasabha Saturday said it would adopt 'Gandhigiri' to get the demand fulfilled. "The Mahasabha has decided that Brahmins will demand and accelerate our movement to get reservation on economic grounds. We will not be violent and follow Gandhian principles to get our demands fullfiled," newly-elected Mahasabha president and MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma said. Expressing concern over the status of the community, Sharma claimed Brahmins were becoming socially and economically backward and there was a need for reservation on the basis of economic status. "The country does not need caste based reservation as there is a desperate need to have reservation on the basis of economic and social condition of various castes of society," he asserted.
