Ambedkar remembered

GREAT LEADER:Transport Minister K.N. Nehru garlanding the statue of
Ambedkar in Tiruchi on Wednesday.
TIRUCHI: Members of various political parties garlanded the statue of
Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar here on Wednesday on the occasion of the
late leader's 119 {+t} {+h} birth anniversary.
Transport Minister K.N. Nehru accompanied by Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam
party cadres garlanded the statue of Dr. Ambedkar at Aristo
roundabaout in the city.
Cadres of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam led by the
party's urban district secretary R. Manoharan and party's Tiruchi Lok
Sabha MP Kumar garlanded the statue of the late leader.
Members of the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, Ambedkar Makkal
Iyakkam, Puthiya Tamizhagam and Bharatiya Janata Party also garlanded
the statue of Ambedkar.
Cadres of Tiruchi urban district Janatha Dal garlanded the statue of
late Ambedkar on the East Boulevard Road. N. V. Natarajan, district
president, led the partymen. V. K. Daniel, district secretary, and
others were present. Members of the Youth Wing and Students Wing
participated in the celebrations.
