May the dawn of two thousand eight,
Bring with it, a gentle fragrant breeze;
That soothes away the woes of the world,
And gives peace to its turbulent phase.
May the Divine showers grace the earth,
As it beholds the first glimpse of Sun;
And remove fom the face of humanity,
The scars of wounds and stains of blood.
