Punya Prasun Vajpeyi has launched a new book titled 'Anchor-Reporter', which is an insight into the world of anchoring and reporting.

Vilasrao Deshmukh, Chief Minister of Maharashtra released the book and discussed the subject of the book along with Nikhil Wagle (Editor – Mahanagar), Ashok Maheshwari (Managing Director – Rajkamal Prakashan) and the author Vajpeyi.

The Book
We are living in the age of TV journalism. Many young individuals from the present generation wish to become either a TV anchor or a reporter. While there are some books in the market that explain the theoretical aspects of TV journalism, this book authored by Punya Prasun Vajpeyi, renowned anchor and editor of Aaj Tak channel sheds light on practical situations in which a TV anchor or reporter has to work. Filling the void between theory and practice is the hallmark of this book. Besides this, this book also explains the brief history of television both in India and the globe. It can safely be said that 'Anchor-Reporter' brings forth certain untouched aspects of TV journalism, thus solving many mysteries of journalism.

The Author
One of the most well known and respected Hindi anchors of today's world Punya Prasun Vajpeyi is an anchor and editor of the News channel Aaj Tak. He has also won the 'Regional Award Hindi Broadcast' award at the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards for his investigative report on the tribal in Vidarbha who were falsely booked under TADA for alleged Naxalite links.
