Nov 04, Colombo: 'Movement Against Media Suppression', a coalition of six media organizations, trade unions and other civil society groups are organizing a massive demonstration against restriction of media freedom in the country. The demonstration is to be held in front of Colombo Fort railway station on Tuesday, 06th November. A spokesman for the Movement said that the agitation would be spread countrywide and series of seminars would be held to make public aware.
