Indias first ever campus community radio station for the disabled was kicked off in the City on Sunday. Located in J P Nagar, Ramana-Voices, a partnership between Ramana Maharishi Academy of Blind and Voices - an NGO focused on community based issues and local and neighbourhood governance like education, health and slum development. Ashish Sen, director of Voices, said, The radio frequency 94.0 will provide a forum for the community to share problems and tackle it collectively. Initially, it will be a four-hour programme every day. Programmes on law advocacy and voices from community will be a part of show.
