Bombay: Loquations About To Die, Can We Save it?
Loquations is a very small poetry reading and literary group run by a fantastic lady called Jane Bhandari. I had given a talk there myself on the poetry of Charles Bukowski to no more than ten people.However, when one of the listeners is Adil Jussawala, whose knowledge of poetry is encyclopaedic, it can be an overwhelming experience. It is a great and intimate way to discuss literature. However, for some reason that this information is neglected by BigMedia, and therefore is unable to reach intereste people, Loquations is going to fold up tommorrow. Jane's e-mail sounds very sad to me: ... As you can see, this month's programme is incomplete. Unless members come forward to do a few presentations, this will be the last. Sorry about this, but after almost three years I cannot continue unassisted.
