truly enjoyed your report shivam, but i could not get thru to the pix. seth's poem goes so well as a tailend piece and the part ab geriatrics and monkeys had me in splits. i suppose the time on sunday 31st july is 5 pm? pity ab loquations' turnout. i was honoured that doyen adil himself (jussawalla) graced my reading in oct last yr. and yes glossing came in for some debate there too. as u could c i totally freaked out on the 'fugitive - on the run' and the comments on the article. yes 'delhi - shitty of shitties!' was certainly one of the incredulous responses. and along with one of the poems vivek read out, the scatological too held its place. ('i shit and piss' etc.)zestpoets was an ambience in which i felt at home. quiet, mature, vibrant, playful - perhaps what typifies zest. thank you, all of you, for getting under the skin of 'last bus to vasco.' i want you to share my joy in telling you that the same day we met, my poem 'mapusa memories' was published in the sunday panorama section of the local daily the navhind times in goa. m2 was written in jan this yr on the heels of my mum slipping away in dec. ciao. brian ps - my cell is at the cleaners so the only way im inn the loony loop is at office at 011-23744769 ext 236.
