[ZESTPoets] Call for Submissions

Dear ZEST Poets and Poetry lovers,
 
After our earlier post on this group, we (Meenakshi Shedde and Subuhi Jiwani) received several submissions for our Hairicks column featured on DNA’s arts page (Salon) appearing every Saturday. DNA (Daily News and Analysis) is a daily, national newspaper with a circulation of 3 lakhs; it launched in Mumbai in late July. We are also delighted to announce that we have published haikus that were sent in members of this group. 
 
The column features a haikus, limericks, and 100-word non-fiction pieces called Brief Encounters. A Brief Encounters offers insights readers have had following life-altering experiences. We pay Rs 500 for each piece published—haiku, limerick or Brief Encounter.   

Do continue to send in your contributions. We publish the works of established, aspiring and not-yet poets. You can send your submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED].
