I had forgotten to ask Ronnie, but what in heaven's name is an objective co-relative?
This bit of goobbledygook never featured in my Eng Lit classes and has evaded me ever since;
it sounds like something Doctor Doolittle might have in his menagerie. A verbal Pushmepullyu?
 
To quote Ronnie: Vagueness cannot be justified under the guise of supporting the imagination of that "unknown reader". I find the term 'objective co-relative' totally vague.
We are talking here about what makes a poem work (or not, as the case may be), not splitting the atom.
 
Perhaps it IS a sister-in-law...Ronnie, mon cher, do explain.
