Not sure if this helps but one of the genres of Akam love poetry is "Neytal" which translates into a water flower: The subject is often separation -- the unmarried woman who believes that the lover may have abandoned her. Occasionally, neytal poems concern the journey of the hero on his way to visit his beloved. Common settings are the beach, the seashore.
