Otherwise if anyone has ever had a bad publishing experience - or a really good one, for that matter, we should see both sides, let me know. I'll do a compilation, the Zestpoets handbook of poetry publishing.

One safe way in all these transactions is to send a copy to
your own address by postal mail. After receipt keep it,
but DON'T open it. It has the postmark with the date.
That is all the proof one needs if anybody tries to
cheat. If the occasion comes, the judge or proper
authourities may open it to prove your case. The date
on the envelope proves the priority too. Hope this helps.
