I really don't think we can provide such a system in the short term.
There are a lot of things to be taken into account, like the few package
dependencies we have (Database <- PersistentObject, e.g.), bug fixes in
Base and so on.

So, my proposal is still to have a full bundle package every $x months,
containing all recent stable component release. And independent release
cycles per component, while these versions are only provided through the
PEAR channel.
