Hi Roland,

Thanks for reporting this problem. If you want to, you can continue to use the same methods you previously used with zfs-auto-snapshot to tag/select zfs datasets for automatic snapshotting. The interfaces are the same, the time-slider GUI is just a wrapper around the existing zfs-auto-snapshot tagging property (com.sun:auto-snapshot).

eg.
pfexec zfs set com.sun:auto-snapshot=true rpool/export/home.
etc.

I'll look into the GUI issue and work on a fix ASAP.

Thanks,
Niall.

Hello,

as auto-smf has been replaced by time-slider i try to use it, but i can`t.

i have a larger number of zfs filesystems (~30). when i start time slider manager in gnome and choose "enable time slider" and click on "advanced options", the window expands it`s size so that i can`t see the bottom of the window. it expands to the bottom and it`s height is about half times more than the height of the desktop , so it is clipped at the bottom of the desktop. My Desktop ist 19" at 1280x1024 and i won`t buy a bigger monitor! ;)

i found absolutely no way to resize the window appropriately so it will fit on the screen. i can neither see "cancel" "ok" or "delete snapshots", nor can`t i see the % input box. (have seen some screenhots of the time-slider app on the net)

how can i start time-slider that it fit`s on the screen and sizes appropriately ?
Looks like a bug to me....

regards
roland
